General Service ~ Pre-purchase Inspections ~ Brakes & Suspension
Tires & Alignment ~ Check Engine Light

It's important to maintain the steering and suspension systems of your car to ensure your safety, but also because these systems enhance the comfort level of your driving experience. If both systems are properly maintained, you should be able to drive your car effortlessly and the ride should be smooth and quiet.

On the other hand, if you're noticing some changes in the drivability of your car (for example: it pulls to one direction when you're driving on a straight road or you hear noise/vibration coming from the tires) you should have your mechanic inspect your vehicle for steering and suspension issues.

A word from the wise: don't wait until a problem occurs with your car to start taking care of it. Regular tire maintenance and wheel alignment will increase your fuel economy and will help prevent undue tire wear, increasing the lifespan of your tires. On the same note, worn shock absorbers and weak springs can decrease your car's fuel economy, so be sure to have your steering and suspension systems maintained along with your tires to maximize your car's efficiency.
